Christian Long Distance Service Comparison

Christian Long Distance Services

Affinity 4 / Affinity4 / Lifeline Long Distance - When you add in the fees and restrictions, every one of their long distance plans will cost you more than ours. In December 2003, Lifeline's parent company, AmeriVision Communications Inc., filed for bankruptcy protection. Our long distance plan will not bankrupt you. Lifeline now has new owners and goes by the name Affinity 4.

One Christian Voice - In November of 2005, One Christian Voice simply disappeared. Customers were left without long distance service, their website was gone and nobody could contact them. It is disappointing that a "Christian" company would operate in this manner. We will keep checking to see if we can find out what is going on. Our companies have been around for a long time, so you can sign up with us with confidence.

Promise Keepers Long Distance - It looks like Promise Keepers long distance is gone now, too. We have been around a long time, and we will be around a long time from now.

Promisevision Long Distance ( or Promise Vision ) - Guess what? These guys are out of business, too. They sold the company to United American Technologies (UAT), who has been using some questionable telemarketing tactics to promote their business. With us, what you see is what you get. Our plans are simple and cheap, with not tricks, hidden fees or surprises.

Our plan is better than any of these, and with us you never have to worry about us secretly using MCI, AT&T Sprint for your long distance service.

Non-Christian Long Distance Services

There are WAY too many to list them all here, but let me just say two things:

  1. Watch out for hidden fees and longer billing increments. Read the Fine Print. I have yet to find an offer that is a better deal than our 3.9¢/minute no-fee service, including IDT.
  2. Many, if not all, of these companies use MCI, Sprint or AT&T for their services. (See the Christian's Guide to Long Distance.) Even if they don't, they're not a Christian company, so would not be supporting God's work.

Prepaid Calling Cards

Another option is to use prepaid calling cards to get a good rate on long distance. The most popular one is the Sam's Club calling card from...guess who?...AT&T. (Click here for information about AT&T) Most prepaid calling cards have ridiculous fees and multi-minute billing increments that make your per minute rate MUCH higher than you think.

We offer a great 3.9¢/minute calling card. It has no hidden fees, with one-minute billing increments.
